Carson Valley Inn sold to Bodine’s-Silver Legacy (Reno) group

It’s been announced that Jean and Patrick Mulreany, owners of the Carson Valley Inn in Minden are making changes after 25 years of hotel-casino ownership in Douglas County, by selling their CVI to the Bodine’s-Sliver Legacy-Reno group, which includes Mike Pegram of Bodine’s and the Carrano Family that owns the Silver Legacy resort in Reno.

Sale of the Carson Valley Inn is expected to be complete by the end of the year. No sale price has yet been announced.

The Mulreany’s said it was time for them to “move in a new direction” and that they’re confident the new owners will further the proud tradition of the CVI as a quality gaming and entertainment center in northwestern Nevada.

The Carson Valley Inn is in the heart of Minden, with 152 hotel rooms, a 75 room motor lodge, nearly 60 R/V hook-up sites, big casino, poker room, three major restaurants, two lounges and over 6,000 square feet of convention and banquet area. It also sports an indoor wedding chapel, and indoor spa and fitness center.
