More snow on the way tonight, into tomorrow…

From the National Weather Service in Reno:

Warning Message:A cold low pressure system will drop from the Gulf of Alaska
southward along the California coastline on tonight into tomorrow.
This will bring a period of snow showers to much of the
region…including the western Nevada valleys around Reno and
Carson City. Due to the showery nature of this system…snow
amounts are going to vary considerably from one location to

Nevada on the brink of…

As Nevadans from Las Vegas to Gerlach, and from Reno to Ely watch Governor Gibbons tonight at 6 on TV, they’ll be watching a Governor lay out the state’s darkest picture in the history of Nevada. The picture will be of a Nevada that is broke with little prospect of paying its bills.
