Richard Staub files for another term as Supervisor Ward 4

May 9th, 2008 by Dave Morgan.

Supervisor Richard Staub filed for re-election to his 4th Ward seat saying the city needs a number of steady hands to guide it through its current financial troubles and that he wants to be one of those steady hands. Staub also told NewsCarsonCity.com that he wants to help keep the pressure on NDOT to finish the Carson City Freeway all the way to Spooner. Staub also says he wants to promote and protect Carson City’s economy since it is heavily reliant on sales taxes for funding sheriff, fire, library, streets, parks and recreation and other vital city services. He also said he wants to continue working to create a re-vitalized car and truck dealership center in south Carson City - an “auto row” along south Carson Street complete with Dick Campagni’s dealerships and hopefully soon to locate and consolidate dealerships owned by Michael Hohl.
