A new principal for Carson High School as soon as next week

Another changing of the guard at Carson High School. As principal Fred Perdomo retires and heads for the Himalyas (we’re not kidding), the district’s current grant and special projects manager Ron Beck is expected to be appointed to replace him. No one in an administrative capacity at Carson High applied for the job, and no other administrator-type anywhere else in the district applied either. Beck has extensive experience as a principal, a coordinator for high risk schools, athletic director and a teacher.
